Camel Trek and 4X4 Tour  - I visited in February with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time. We went on a camel trek on the first evening and stayed in a desert camp which... read more was very comfortable. The camel trek was great fun and the view of the sunset over the dunes is a beautiful experience. We had the desert camp to ourselves which meant it was very peaceful, and it was great because we were still treated to Berber music and a fantastic meal. Everyone was so happy to chat to us and we were fascinated hearing about life in the Sahara.
The next day we returned to the hotel to get cleaned up and to go on a 4X4 tour. Mohamed took us out for the day and showed us some local attractions. We went for tea in a nomad village and went across the dunes in the 4X4 which was great fun.

We got some great photos and met some wonderful people. We always felt welcome with Omar and Mohamed. There truly was nothing wrong and everything ran smoothly the whole duration of our visit.

We stopped at the top of one of the dunes and watched the sun setting, which was incredible, with such amazing views of an incredibly beautiful area.
This ride was one of the highlights of my holiday, along with the night in the camp, where we watched the sun set and rise. The whole thing was such an fantastic experience.
